A Process Engineer is required at a global leader serving a highly successful industry. Situated within the Engineering Team, the role will be responsible for optimising process and product efficiency for the whole site as well as applying technical knowledge to ensure quality consistency throughout all manufacturing aspects of the site. Duties and responsibilities - Involvement in projects that deliver improvements in the efficiency of manufacturing operations - Drive improvements in all aspects of process safety - Deliver increased site manufacturing capability - Provide engineering expertise to ensure safe and efficient operation processes - Participate in cost control and process risk assessment - Identify and improve processes within department which is inline with current systems - Monitor new product compliance through undertaking investigations and to advice on possible resolutions - Effectively plan and organise projects in co-operations with the Research Manager The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences: - A degree in Chemical Engineering or relevant discipline - Ability to use engineering expertise to generate commercially viable solutions to complex problems - Exceptional project management and planning skills - Experience of unit operations - Effective communication skills - Capability of building effective working relationships - Knowledge of hazard studies - IT skills - The ability to work autonomy and in a team - Previous experience in a similar role with would advantageous This is an exciting opportunity for a Process Engineer to join a well-established, innovative business.
