Main Duty: To support the Consultation, Marketing and Engagement team in delivering its communications (including digital), marketing, consultation, engagement and equalities objectives, and assist with the operation of an efficient and effective service. Responsibilities: Reviewing, updating and creating new content on the corporate website and staff intranet. Social media content creation and scheduling. Coordinating key corporate events and meetings. Developing and implementing a range of coordinated public consultation and engagement activities, including online surveys, focus groups and events. Keeping all employees up to date with changes in the organisation that will affect or interest them, primarily through Bridgenders messages. Managing, developing and maintaining of the Citizens' Panel. Producing marketing materials to support specific council services and campaigns. Developing and implementing corporate projects, policies and initiatives, taking into account relevant legislation and best practise. Researching, creating and maintaining databases. Collating, analysing and presenting social media and website statistics and trends to inform future strategy, tactics and developments. You must have: Experience of using Microsoft Office products in particular Word and Excel. Experience of business administration and familiarity with administrative processes and systems. General knowledge of the role of local government. Understanding of the importance of customer care. Experience of using and generating content for social media platforms. Experience of analysing social media and web statistics and trends. An interest in current affairs.
