Job Title: PMO Analyst Location: Salisbury Salary: Circa £40,000 to £50,000 Dependent on Experience Benefits: Bonus, Pension, Healthcare, Gym This is a new and unique opportunity to join a highly innovative financial services / specialist insurance company to help support their ambitious growth plans. Established 18 years ago this company focuses on providing insurance to hundreds of thousands of customers to allow them to support various welfare charities around the world. The Programme Management Office (PMO) is the information hub for all projects within the portfolio and involves assurance/quality control and tracking/reporting of: actions; financials/budget and risks/issues. The role of PMO Analyst is to support projects, to ensure their successful delivery, to meet the business needs and to manage PMO activity across a range of projects and business areas. The Role The PMO Analyst is a brand new role for the company as part of their continued development of the IT department and you will work closely with various departments and will report directly to the CIO. Working with the CIO you will help set up the PMO and will be responsible for monitoring the status of project deliverables and milestones, ensuring the correct adoption of the project lifecycle. You will track and coordinate project risks and issues and record the follow-up of issues/actions. Stakeholder management is vital in this role as you will be working at all levels up to C-Level. You will provide regular status and update reports while co-ordinating project governance including reviews and sign-off while actively working to improve and embed PMO methods, tools and processes. You will also provide project support, including updating project milestones and providing project status/dashboard updates. You will have experience of project co-ordination and administration coupled with excellent Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills. You will have experience of Project Management tools and techniques as well as resource planning and management with excellent stakeholder management skills. You will be able to develop project plans, manage deadlines and produce project metrics and dashboards. Ideally you will have a project management related qualification such as Prince, MSP etc. Above all we are looking for someone that is genuinely excited at taking on a new role and shaping it for a growing department in an ambitious organisation. Any knowledge of financial services would be welcome but is not a requirement.
