Electrical maintenance engineer
Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias) Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be a part of a team working on manufacturing projects from start to finish. Due to continued growth and the number of projects they’re getting through, this Manufacturing company based in Oldham are looking to employ maintenance engineers to join there rapidly expanding company and team of engineers. Salary: £35,000 depending on experience + Benefits/Overtime Days role - 8:30am – 17:30pm Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities and Skills: •Four years in a maintenance position •Apprentice Trained Electrical Engineer or equivalent with City & Guilds •Industrial manufacturing background would be desirable all backgrounds are considered •Experience of control systems an advantage (i.e. Single loop controllers or PLC’s) •Knowledge of Health & Safety and Environmental Legislation •Hydraulic and Pneumatic experience •Knowledge of PLC’s, Drives etc •Experience with Relay controllers and Valves •High exposure to machinery and hands-on breakdown knowledge •Planned, preventative and reactive maintenance knowledge •Fault finding experience My client is willing to take someone on who has a background in Electrical Engineering with PLC fault finding and breakdown of machinery knowledge who has worked in the manufacturing industry before. There is training involved with this position so anyone who is looking to progress their career in this direction who is ambitious would be considered. Any strong time served Maintenance engineer will be considered if they have the right experience highlighted above. Electrical Maintenance Engineer requirements: The successful Maintenance Engineer should have a strong background with Electrical Machinery also have knowledge of manufacturing and PPM’s with a strong background in Medical and Manufacturing industry. You should have been educated with an HNC or higher. If you have a strong background in Control systems that would be desirable. City and Guilds qualification would be desirable.
