They are a leading supplier of critical garment services within the UK. A market leader in the provision of specialised clean garments to the food processing and manufacturing industries, the company also offers consumables and PPE services, as well as being a large supplier to the pharmaceuticals industry. The role A unique opportunity has arisen to join the talented management team and head up the organisations important IT function. The IT department plays a pivotal role in the company’s approach to providing technological solutions to our customers in an increasingly data driven industry. As the organisation continues to grow we’re looking for an enthusiastic IT Manager to drive and improve the end user experience. The IT Manager will be responsible for: Managing, leading and motivating a team of 6 software and hardware specialists, whilst at the same time providing coaching and guidance. Driving the end-to-end delivery of complex IT hardware and software projects within timescale, cost and quality constraints. Contributing to the performance of the organisations management team. The ideal IT Manager will have: Preferably hold a minimum 2:1 degree (or degree equivalent) in IT or IT related subject. Practical experience of working within a medium to large multi-server network environment with desirable experience of using VMware and Veeam software. Extensive MS Active Directory knowledge and experience Experience of administering SQL databases Manufacturing industry related experience Software Development and Programming Competencies Experience of managing end-to-end complex software development and hardware projects Experience of managing change implementation An underlining commercial approach to IT Facilitating effective IT Procurement Security Governance and Policy Management Website Design and Creation The successful candidate must hold a full UK driving licence.
