We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Portfolio Account Manager to join our Industrial Chemicals team based in our Widnes office. This is an office based role in a fast moving and dynamic environment. 

The successful candidate will work in conjunction with the Sales Manager on an agreed base of existing customers, whilst proactively targeting new ones. You will work in partnership with our Supplier & Product Management team to grow sales of products within the Chlor Alkali range.

Portfolio Account Manager Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

+ To deliver sustainable & ongoing growth.
+ Ability, desire & motivation to support and work as ‘one team’ alongside our LCD Key Account Managers with specific focus on the Chlor Alkali Product Portfolio
+ To control customer sales attrition, grow trading customers, and deliver growth in our Spot business
+ Produce and convert a new business opportunity pipeline
+ Salesforce (CRM sales tool) update and maintenance
+ Q (Pricing tool) update and maintenance

If you are the successful candidate you will show the necessary desires to learn to be a highly-skilled sales person. Ideally you will have experience of managing existing accounts, and identifying and gaining new business. 

The ability to work effectively with all levels of the organisation is essential. Having flexibility and a positive attitude towards team work is also a fundamental requirement. You must be organised and able to prioritise with effective time management skills. The individual must also be proficient at handling multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy & attention to detail.
