Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for Support Workers who would like to work in a special school in Warrington. This will be a full-time role, long terms to start ASAP until Christmas, with the potential of this continuing into 2019. This school is for children aged 4-11 years old.

This Outstanding School caters for students with Autism, PMLD and SLD. The school is highly renowned within the local area and the students genuinely enjoying coming into school every day. Due to the nature the school, they are looking for specialist Support Workers who are looking to transition into a school-based environment.

The ideal candidate will need the following skills:
• Good behaviour management skills
• Experience teaching students with ASD, PMLD and SLD in a SEN setting or with a care background
• Team Teach Trained is desirable
• Adaptable across subjects and a good general curriculum knowledge
• Patient and nurturing mannerism
• Be enthusiastic and willing to be 'hands on' in and out of the classroom.
• Good sense of humour, approachable and flexible

The role:
• Supporting students on a 1:1 basis
• Lead intervention sessions on 1:1 basis or for small groups
• Working collaboratively with class teacher
• A strong, supportive and highly experienced leadership team and governing body
• A good understanding of differentiation and behaviour management

Each provision has great transport links and can be easily accessible by bus or tram from central Warrington. There is also plenty of on-site parking is available.
The school has fantastic facilities for their students to enjoy including a recently refurbished hydrotherapy pool, rebound therapy, sensory room, soft play and art room.

• This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
• You must have the legal right to work in the UK
