Fracture Clinic / Outpatients service provide a service for Trauma & Orthopaedic patients. Working alongside MDT teams.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Staff Nurse who can be flexible, and hard-working work in this very busy environment. The applicant should be self-motivated and able to work as part of the team.

We are looking for someone who loves being a Nurse, and enjoys their work and making a difference.

Previous Orthopaedics experience / or knowledge Providing the focal point of communication for, patients, medical and professional staff both within the Trust and with external organisations, you will oversee the patient pathway to ensure that all necessary appointments including outpatients, clinics, waiting lists are arranged on time, ensure that clinics are utilised to capacity, diagnostics and tests are processed as requested and that patients receive timely treatment thus meeting the Trust and national standards.

You should have very good communication skills, both written and verbal, the ability to organise and prioritise your workload and be competent in the use of windows software. Successful candidates must be able to work on their own initiative and maintain patient confidentiality and ensure a high standard of customer care at all times. This post would provide an excellent opportunity for a person looking for a new challenge in a friendly and busy hospital environment.Northampton is thriving Town with a busy A&E and Fracture Clinic depts.
