Financial Services Administrator Salary: Open to negotiation dependent on skills and experience Benefits: 20 days holidays + bank holidays, Pension scheme, opportunity for progression, excellent working environment. Hours: 9am – 5.30pm, Monday to Friday Location: CH2 Due to company growth, our client is looking for an experienced Financial Services Administrator to join their friendly team in Hoole, Chester. Established in 1999, our client has grown to become one of the North West’s leading Independent Financial Advisers and have been awarded Corporate Chartered status. The Role: Reporting to the Office Manager, the Administrator will provide high quality administration and analytical support to the successful Financial Advisers and Paraplanners of the business. You will also provide excellent customer service and help to ensure that the office runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis. Full training will be provided however the ideal candidates will have 2+ years administration experience in the Financial Services industry. Duties include, but are not limited to: •New business processing (investments, pensions, mortgages & life) •Valuations •Client servicing, e.g. switches, rebalance, withdrawals etc. •Providing quotes using exchange and platforms •Dealing with policy enquiries •Telephone and reception duties •General Admin support including handling post and typing Person Specification: •Previous experience working within an IFA practice •Organised & methodical with excellent attention to detail •Ability to prioritise and meet targets and deadlines •Effective communication skills •Strong IT skills, specifically in MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook Also experience of IRESS (Adviser Office) back office system would be an advantage, together with experience of some, or all, of the following platforms: •Exchange •Financial Express •O&M •Trigold •Standard Life •Aviva •Cofunds •Aegon As a Chartered IFA, our client actively encourages all of their colleagues in their professional development and will fund study material and examination costs to support CII Learning pathways.
