Basic salary of £17,000-£20,000

Hours - Monday to Friday (Full Time hours)

To work within the Customer Service department to ensure that finance contracts are enforced and the company’s assets and rights are protected.

As a Credit Controller you will be managing client statements on a monthly basis and allocating all payments which have been received to the bank account.

Further duties of this Credit Controller position may involve dealing with any incoming queries, creating client invoices and sending out financial information.

This Credit Controller opportunity will allow you to demonstrate your confidence and ability when taking calls from suppliers, raising payments and dealing with remittances.

Key Responsibilities:

To protect interests in the portfolio of contracts (post-Activation) by:

* Collecting late payments

* Arranging collection of assets where appropriate

* Processing 'novations’ where appropriate

* Completing administrative tasks as necessary, during the life of the contract

* Monitoring customer payment performance

* Dealing with Customer Service enquiries (e.g. Acquis/settlements/statements/VAT)

* Escalating issues and complaints in a timely manner

Desirable Qualities:

* Organised, able to prioritise

* Good commercial judgement

* Strong analytical skills (financial and other information/searches)

* Previous experience in a credit control environment

* Good knowledge of compliance requirements

* Approachable (internal and external relationships)

Personal Attributes:

* Able to use your own initiative as well as working effectively as part of a team

* Good problem-solving skills

* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload

* Able to communicate confidently and knowledgeably on the telephone

* High attention to detail, accurate and thorough

* Self-motivated individual with ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines

* Desire to develop in role including supported external courses/qualifications
