We are a full service digital marketing agency founded in 1998. We offer a full range of services including design, online marketing (PPC & SEO) and Web / App Development.

We are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager to build new relationships and generate a new pipeline of income for the agency.

The Business Development Manager Role:

As a natural sales hunter you will responsible for your own lead generation and appointment setting where you will successfully manage the sales process: lead generation; credentials pitch; asking questions; solution pitch; negotiation; close through to handover to the account management team.

As a Consultative Business Developer you will gain a thorough understanding of clients marketing objectives including their Return On Investment objectives and provide timely and comprehensive proposals on how our solutions can help them achieve this. Crucial to this is keeping abreast of issues affecting search engine marketing companies, the search engine industry and collecting competitor intelligence. 

Business Development Manager Skills, Knowledge & Experience Required: 

+ Possess drive, motivation and acute attention to detail in ensuring all sales opportunities are captured and explored 
+ Proven success in your sales ability and demonstrable full knowledge of the sales process 
+ Confident negotiator and ability to ‘close the deal’ 
+ Strong client management skills and ability to keep promises 
+ Capable of hands on problem-solving, with ability to generate ideas and solutions 
+ A positive and determined approach to researching and analysing new business opportunities 
+ Ability to use LinkedIn as a lead generator
+ Ability to use own initiative and pay close attention to detail 
+ Ability to cope with competing demands and to prioritise tasks 
+ Ability to liaise and communicate effectively with developers
+ Strong communication skills in all forms including written, oral, email, telephone, and presentation 
+ Excellent organisational and time management skills 
+ A positive attitude to dealing with people 
+ Capable of working independently, and having responsibility as an individual 
+ A sound understanding of the UK and European online marketing sector would be a distinct advantage.
