Locations available: Croydon University Hospital

Salary: £16.02 - £24.37 an hour

Bank shifts available through NHS Professionals at Croydon University Hospital.

CUH provides more than 100 specialist services and is home to the borough’s only Emergency Department and 24/7 maternity services, including a labour ward, midwifery-led birth centre and the Crocus home birthing team. We are recruiting Registered Mental health Nurses for Croydon University Hospital NHSP to work on an ad-hoc basis within the Emergency Department and in-patient wards at the hospital. As part of a growing enhanced care initiative we can offer you shifts to care directly on a 1:1 basis for people with mental health needs in a general hospital that require additional support for a variety of reasons. You will work closely with our Mental Health Liaison Team and our Head of Nursing for Mental Health who can provide regular group support and supervision. You will form part of the growing team we have at Croydon University Hospital.

Essential Criteria:

• Registered Mental Health Nurse

• 6 months experience in mental health in the last 2 years (NHS or Private Hospital)

• Respect for patients privacy, dignity, wishes and beliefs
