We are recruiting a Care Supervisor to work in our luxury care home in Ascot working days and nights.

The salary for the Care Supervisor is £10.50- £11.50 per hour DOE

The day shift is 7.30am - 8.30pm with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break

The night shift is 7.45pm - 8.15am with a 1 hour paid lunch break

Overtime is available.

The Care Supervisor manages a small team of Care Assistants and Senior Care Assistants within the Care Services Team. They are responsible for promoting and delivering person-centred care within our care philosophy, are mindful of each resident's age, gender, sexuality, ethnicity and spiritual needs.

In addition, the Care Supervisor will manage the team providing support, guidance and ensuring all our processes and procedures are followed to the highest standards ensuring resident's choices, dignity, independence and personal safety being at the core of all care and support activity.

On a daily basis the Care Supervisor will support, guide and develop their team members. In addition they will carry out regular supervisions/one to ones and yearly reviews and support individual performance management plans for identified staff

We are looking for someone with the following attributes:

  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Previous experience in a Care role.
  • Minimum of NVQ 3 or equivalent.
  • Recognised Medication administration qualification and experience.
  • Demonstrable ability in organising, leading, inspiring and influencing a team
  • Ability to demonstrate a positive and resilient approach to work.
  • Prepared to take accountability and ownership for duties/role.
  • Willingness to participate in training and development in respect of requirements of the role.
  • Confident and assertive when handling difficult conversations or dealing with challenging people /issues.
