Project Support Officer - Town Planning
Osborne Richardson have an excellent opportunity to join one of the busiest planning authorities in the South West of England and take up a key support role in their team. As a Project Support Officer within Town Planning directorate you will be involved with a range of administrative functions concerned with supporting officers who are managing development projects, infrastructure delivery projects and developing strategic and policy.
You will assisting at meetings with diary co-ordination, preparation and circulation of agendas and minute taking and you will also assist in arranging public consultations and community and development industry engagements. Other duties will include dealing with inbound calls and providing advice to customers. You may also be required to do this in person when people come into the office. On a day to day basis you will deal with a high volume of enquiries and you will help manage a busy flow of emails. Another key function of the role will be utilising our clients document management system to index application documents.
This role would be suited to a Graduate in Town Planning looking for their first career step and exposure to public sector town planning work or someone with good admin skills and previous experience within town planning and therefore a good understanding of the terminology and the planning application process.
The role is based in Devon and it will initially be offered as a 3 month contract but it is likely to be extended and the rate will be around £12/hr Ltd. Contact us ASAP if you are interested and would like more info.
