Assistant Head of Data Analyst
Up to £35K per annum

Our client are seeking an Assistant Head of Data Analyst to join their team in Farnham. The Assistant Head of Data Analyst will be responsible for the data analytics within the group. They will be leading 2 Data Analysts; working closely with the IT Development team to provide feedback on the system and process testing. The Assistant Head of Data Analyst will:

Control the receipt of incoming data in a timely manner
Ensure the retrieval, collation, verification, cleansing & entry of financial information is complete
Oversee and assist when necessary, the processing and analysis of financial data to generate sales leads
Provide forecasts against financial data received from the field sales team
Liaise with other departments to ensure their requirements are being met
Be responsible for creating, tracking and producing management information & reports
Create management information to support strategic decisions within the business
Work with the Assistant Head of Finance to inform improvements to data management
Review, monitor and report of quality and performance Key Performance Indicators
Validate and audit team standards of quality and performance
Make recommendations for process and system improvements
Provide support with process mapping, review and improve as required
Manage integration processes for new data sources, from specification to implementation and testing
Play a key role in developing in-house Single View databases and custom attribution models, working closely with the Development and Testing team

The ideal candidate will:

Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience analysing data
Have previous Supervisory/Management experience
Have exceptional organisational & time management skills
Have a minimum of 1 years’ hands on experience of SQL query writing, SQL analytics & SQL reporting services (SSIS, SSRS & T-SQL) and a strong/advanced, practical working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Have a good understanding of SQL Management Studio & Visual Studio Business Intelligence
Have a demonstrable background of analytical and problem solving skills – ability to analyse data, think flexibly, identify issues and develop options that improve Data Integrity
Have experience of providing analysis and insight to key stakeholders, presenting complex datasets in a clear and concise way, which non-technical colleagues can understand
Be confident in multiple software packages and willing to learn in house systems
Be self-motivated and results oriented with a highly engaging and collaborative working style
Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 5.30pm, with an hour for lunch and Fridays 8.30am to 5pm with 30 minutes for lunch.
