We have exciting opportunities for Midwife looking for a promotion to join our team of Band 7 Midwives working at Queen Charlotte’s and Chelsea Hospital. We are looking for an enthusiastic and forward thinking candidate to lead west team Group Practice at Ealing. Our Group practices consist of a dedicated team of Midwives, Maternity Support Workers and Leads for Vulnerable Women, operating out of local Children’s Centres to provide women with continuity of Antenatal and Postnatal care and education. Working hours include Monday to Friday, with some flexibility to work over weekends and bank holidays. You will be a passionate midwife, interested in facilitating home-birth, parent education and clinic organisation. You will also enjoy supporting junior members of the team and ideally have some experience in team leading (although this is not essential). This role involves managerial skills such as rota, sickness management, performance management, Datix, guidelines, audit.
We are looking for an experienced midwife, successful in postgraduate studies with an excellent communication and organizational skills. As a senior midwife within the Trust the post holder will participate and contribute to service developments and initiatives and represent the maternity unit at various multidisciplinary forums.
