Are you looking for a new full-time role? I am recruiting for a Support Worker in the Nottinghamshire area. The position is for 35 hours a week, over 5 days. A fantastic opportunity for an organisation offering benefits including specialized training and qualifications.

Job Purpose - Support Worker

The post holder will be provide support to service users appropriate to their individual needs to ensure each service user leads an independent and fulfilling life. Key responsibilities will include:

•To work closely with nurses to provide patients with support to enable them to live a fulfilling life
•To observe and communicate effectively with patients, families and other professionals
•To be involved in support with therapy groups and activities
•Facilitate the daily routines of the service users including personal care promoting a high standard of personal hygiene at all times
•Participate in the development of the service user(s) support plans, risk assessments and programmes, complete written records as necessary and in accordance with the guidelines provided
•Implement individual support plans to meet the needs of the service user(s).

Essential

•Care Certificate
•The ability to work effectively as part of a team

Desirable
•Previous experience within a mental health capacity
