NEONATAL INTENSIVE CARE UNIT

St George’s Neonatal Unit is a perinatal medical and surgical referral centre, covering the South West London sector and beyond. The unit has a capacity of 43 cots, 12 of which are intensive care, 13 high dependency and 18 special care. The service has a large workforce of 200 staff with nursing roles ranging from Neonatal Assistants to Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners.

Following recent internal promotions, exciting opportunities are now available for prospective Band 6 nurses to join our thriving team. You will need a minimum of 6 months experience post completion of an accredited neonatal course. In return we can offer you a wide breadth of experience as you progress your neonatal career.

We expect all our staff to share the values that are important to the trust – being excellent, kind, responsible and respectful – and behave in a way that reflects these. More information on the vision and values of St. George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is attached below.
