RGN/RMN - ADVANCED CLINICAL PRACTITIONER - BAND 7 - £33,222 to £43,041
BRISTOL AREA – INNOVATIVE NOT FOR PROFIT PROVIDER – GOOD RATING CQC

White Knight Recruitment are currently working in partnership with an innovative not for profit provider of NHS community health services across the Bristol area.

This innovative provider delivers a variety of services from community nursing to delivering specialist healthcare services in prison settings. The provider operates an employee own model ensuring their front line staff are actively involved in the running of the organisation and it’s decision-making.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a prison environment, where they are delivering the kind of holistic care that goes beyond health to reduce reoffending and encourage people to make better life choices.

This provider is looking for an Advanced Clinical Practitioner who has a proven track record of delivering high quality clinical services, to join the team where you will be contributing to the overall Service.

The role of the Advanced Clinical Practitioner will include:

•The provision and development of clinical care for patients who have both urgent care needs and several long-term conditions
•The development of comprehensive and individualised patient care plans. This will be achieved through shared decision making and patient empowerment
•Effective partnership working with key stakeholders and agencies to ensure that the service delivered is contractually compliant and of the highest standard
•The development of new and innovative clinical practice

This role is pivotal in supporting the Improving Quality Agenda within the prison. You will be working with nursing and medical staff from a wide range of providers including primary care nursing staff, mental health, medical and clinical pharmacy.

This is a unique and diverse role that will appeal to an experienced Nurse or Paramedic who thrives in a fast paced environment and enjoys the opportunity to use their own initiative and work within a committed and supportive team.

Nurse prescribing qualification is desirable, though the training will be offered to the successful candidate.
