We are looking to recruit Senior Staff Nurses to join our 9 bedded PACU which sits within a 35 bedded Critical Care Unit. This busy dynamic unit admits emergency and elective surgical admissions from a variety of specialities. The PACU is dedicated to excellence for patients and the team are leaders in Quality Improvement. We take pride in the knowledge that we strive for a positive patient and staff experience every day at work and being part of a highly functioning team is very important to us. This is a real opportunity to develop leadership and management skills in critical care and be part of a proactive Multi Disciplinary Team. The role of the Senior Staff Nurse is critical to the development of novice nurses and nursing assistants. The PACU is committed to your development and we run in-house development days and there is access to continuing academic development.
Applicants are required to have significant experience in one of the following specialties: Recovery, High Dependency or Critical Care setting and able to demonstrate a strong desire progress in to an expert practitioner, help to develop a team and strive for excellent patient care.
