Are you an experienced Home Manager looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience turning around care homes and are looking for a new project you can really leave your mark on? Amber Mace has an amazing new Home Manager opportunity based within a small Nursing home in Rochdale, specialising in care for Neuro-disability, Brain injury & stroke, Mental ill-health, Complex dementia.

If you are looking to climb the ladder in the health and social care sector, and have the passion, skills and expertise to lead a care team and provide excellent, person-centred care then this is the perfect role for you!

The home has a team of highly qualified staff who offer round the clock to care to all residents. The caring staff always consider the individual needs of each resident and formulate a personalised care plan to support this.

The home is currently looking for an experienced care manager to lead and inspire the team in order to provide the highest quality person-centred support and care to all elderly residents. My client is offering a competitive starting salary of £45k.

Main Duties for the Home Manager:

•To manage the day to day running of the home and staff team ensuring the highest level of care standards are upheld
•To maintain occupancy levels within the service
•To assist with the recruitment for the home
•To support service users to ensure that their physical, social and emotional needs are met
•To support the personal development of each service user, ensuring that they are treated as an individual with their own unique support needs

The successful candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:

•Proven management/leadership experience in a similar care environment
•Nurse qualified with active PIN -RGN/RNLD/RMN
•Hold a Good` or Outstanding` CQC report
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•Sound knowledge of CQC and Care Standards
•Elderly / Dementia experience
•Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
•Strong planning and organisational skills
