We are looking to recruit Registered Nurses with a passion for education and development to join our dynamic friendly Clinical Educator team.
The Clinical Educators are part of the wider Practice Development and Education team, and have a corporate role in supporting learners in the workplace. This includes a range of initiatives including coaching models and overseas nursing programmes.
With the support of the senior team in Practice Development & Education you will have the opportunity to support and facilitate learners and newly qualified healthcare professionals in practice on a range of educational and training programmes.
As post holder you will be able to further develop your coaching, teaching, and assessment skills for learners on pre and post registration programmes, including return to practice, apprenticeships, OSCE training for overseas nurses, and the care certificate.
You will deliver induction, training and ongoing support with clear objectives, which will involve working clinically with the learners as well as facilitating study days, programmes and workshops.
You should possess excellent communication and organisational skills along with the ability to negotiate learning objectives and give challenging feedback.
The successful candidate will role model Trust and NHS values, with a desire to give learners the best experience in clinical practice, and inspire them to seek employment in the trust.
Hours of work : Full and part time hours available
Monday to Friday day shifts, with regular Saturdays and occasional night shifts required
