White Knight Recruitment are currently working in partnership with an innovative not for profit provider of NHS community health services across the Bristol area.
This innovative provider delivers a variety of services from community nursing to delivering specialist healthcare services in prison settings. The provider operates an employee own model ensuring their front line staff are actively involved in the running of the organisation and it’s decision-making.
Working as a part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering substance misuse services within the offender healthcare model, you’ll deliver prescribed treatment programmes to patients on the Substance Misuse Wing. You will also be supporting the Blood Borne Virus Specialist to deliver Blood Borne Virus (BBV) screening and education programmes. You’ll treat minor ailments and attend emergencies, working alongside the Urgent Care team, Mental Health team, prison staff and the ambulance service.
This is an exciting opportunity for an RGN/RMN with experience of working within substance misuse services to work for a truly unique organisation where staff have a direct say in the running of the organisation.
Successful candidates will need to be a Registered Nurse (RMN/RGN) at Band 5 with NMC registration and Non-Medical Prescriber and have experience of working with multi-disciplinary teams and performing clinical supervisions and appraisals.
