Registered Care Home Manager

Leigh

£50,000

We are looking for an experienced Home Manager to manage a Neuro-disability, Brain injury & stroke, Mental ill-health, Complex dementia home in the Leigh area. You will be highly motivated to lead a team that delivers the best possible care to service users with complex needs.

The home ensure they build their care and activity plans around individuals, supporting, nurturing and encouraging them to live happy, fulfilled lives. They embrace a person centred care philosophy so we can meet individualised care needs.

As the Home Manager, you will lead by example, driving your multi-disciplined team to make our services users life's better every single day, living by the company values. You will have great communicative ability and will have demonstrated experience of working in residential care, specifically in turnaround situations.

As the Registered Manager, you will be accountable for the day to day running and leadership of the home. It is your responsibility to ensure service users receive the highest quality of care, living by the values of making every day better than the last. You will pro-actively coach your team and will be dedicated to driving CQC standards to ensure quality. You will also work closely with the Operations Manager in driving key business objectives.

Key Duties:


    Ensure the home is a caring environment at all timesOversee teams to ensure individual needs of service users are metPromote dignity, independence and rights to privacyRecruit, Lead and develop staffWork towards legal and CQC requirements at all times and drive the home to "outstanding"Have full budget responsibilityEngage with new customers and maintain positive relationships with existing referrers

    Requirements:

    You will be a registered nurse with a valid MNC pin and will have previous experience managing a successful care home at a similar size. A previous CQC rating of 'Good' or 'Outstanding' would be also advantageous. The ideal manager will have previous experience managing multi-disciplined teams and will have a previous experience of managing and analysing P&L reports.

    We are looking for a Home Manager that can lead by example providing great quality care to each individual service user. You will be a compassionate leader with a can do attitude, valuing the importance of always striving to provide our service users with individualistic and effective care.

    You will have a hands-on approach to leadership, supported by an experienced Operations and Quality team, enabling you to drive standards to support the future 'Outstanding' CQC rating that our service users deserve.

    You will also be financially minded being fully accountable for the homes P&L report, continuous reviewing cost saving whilst providing and ensuring excellent quality care to our service users.
