Conservators Ward at Musgrove Park Hospital has a new and rewarding challenge available for you.

We would like to welcome motivated nurses with a positive outlook and an interest in making a difference in the field of neurology and endocrinology.

Our forward-thinking ward has 27 beds looking after patients with diabetes or other hormone related conditions as well as patients with neurological conditions including brain injury.

We have some excellent opportunities for you to expand your clinical skills and be part of our proactive and friendly nursing team. You will be committed to going the extra mile to promote good patient care and be comfortable being part of our innovative, open and hard-working culture.

In return we can offer you an insight into two different specialties as well as personal development programmes which support your career progression.

You will work predominantly 12 hour shifts, with a requirement to work weekends, night duties and bank holidays as required.

If you’re not ready to decide yet, why not come for an informal visit? We are also able to offer you a rotational post with other areas of the hospital if you would like to gain more experience.

Here at Taunton & Somerset NHS, we are really proud of our colleagues and their achievements. We value our people and their extraordinary commitment to our patients and our organisation - together, we are dedicated to working as one team to make a difference to people's lives. We are keen to employ people who share the same vision and values as us. In return, we give nationally agreed rates of pay, locally agreed recognition and benefits schemes, and dedication to supporting your continual professional development.

Our values are simple: Outstanding Care, Working Together, Listening and Leading.

We recognise that our staff are our most valuable resource, we are proud of the excellent levels of service our Trust provides to our service users and the dedication and conscientious of our staff.
