*12 months Fixed Term / Secondment opportunity, based at Cromer & District Hospital *
The new Cromer & District Hospital was built in 2012 following generous donations by two benefactors. The site includes an Outpatients Department, 2 Local Anesthetic Operating Theatres, Renal Dialysis Unit, Minor Injuries and Radiology.
This year sees another exciting step in the Hospitals future as we begin the process of expansion in association with Macmillan, to construct a new Medical Treatment Unit, further Operating & Outpatients Rooms and a Macmillan Information Centre. Planning permission is to be sought early 2019 with construction completed mid 2020.
As Operational Manager for Cromer & District Hospital, you will lead the day-to-day running of the site, troubleshooting issues as they arise, working with the Site Matron and Service Director to provide high quality care. You will need to be an experienced, operational leader with developed skills and acute understanding of Referral to treatment processes, finance, facilities management and operational processes with a desire to drive quality with a patient centered focus.
As post holder you will :
- be responsible for operational business planning and leadership to ensure that the site delivers its performance objectives.
- work closely with the Cromer expansion project team to ensure operational activities continue whilst works are being completed.
- work closely with clinical and operational leaders across all NNUH divisions and their attitude must reflect the trusts PRIDE values positively.
Hours of work - Full time -37.5 hours per week
