**12 month Fixed Term Contract - Apprenticeship **

We welcome applications from individuals wishing to become an Apprentice and gain experience in the NHS. You will develop new skills and knowledge whilst working with an established team gaining valuable work experience and a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

You will be enrolled with a local education provider and will be required to complete your Level 2 Diploma in Business Administration Apprenticeship Programme within the duration of the placement.

Radiology is a nationally accredited department providing diagnostic imaging in Norwich and Cromer as well as in the community and has an excellent reputation as a key provider for Imaging Services in Norfolk.

As post holder, you will undertake training to enable you to be fully conversant with all reception/appointment duties within Radiology.

Eligibility Criteria:

All applicants must be:

  • Aged 16+
  • Resident in the UK/EEA for the last three years
  • Must not have a Degree, Level 4 qualification or above
  • Must NOT be in any form of formal government-funded education

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Good general standard of education
  • 4 GCSE’s at Grade D or above (or equivalent)
  • Good standard of literacy and numeracy
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good IT skills

DBS

If you are a new employee or registering with the Staff Bank you will need to meet the cost of this unless your salary is less than point 9 of Afc

NHS Service

Should you be appointed to the post we will need to establish any previous NHS service via the ESR IAT and we will accept the submission of your application as your agreement to this.

Tier 2 Sponsorship – (not apprenticeships)

We are pleased to consider applicants who require Tier 2 sponsorship to work in the UK but it is unlikely that we would be able to appoint if a suitably qualified, experienced and skilled EU/EEA candidate is available.

UK Registration

You will need to have current UK professional registration where this is a requirement of the role.
