We are seeking a committed and experienced Ophthalmic Technician/Healthcare Assistant to join the Day Surgery Unit and Outpatient teams at our client's busy modern facility based in Croydon, Surrey accessible from both East and West Croydon rail stations.
You will provide support to the nursing team in the Day Surgery Unit and in Outpatients. You will also you assist Consultants with patients as required.

Please note this is not a training position; you must be qualified to at least NVQ3 level, with at least one year current experience in an Ophthalmic setting in order to be considered for this post.

Hospital facilities include; Two Laminar Flow Theatres, a dedicated Endoscopy suite, a dedicated Ophthalmology suite, a full Recovery unit, Five Private Consulting Rooms, Outpatient Treatment Room and X-Ray & Ultrasound Facilities.

Person Requirements:
A Healthcare Assistant or Ophthalmic Technician with current or recent experience of at least one year.
Qualified to NVQ level 3 or equivalent, including Nurses with Ophthalmic experience but unable to register with the NMC.
Independent permission to undertake employment in the UK (not requiring a Certificate of Sponsorship)
