The Role

The Family and Women's Healthcare Group which includes Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Paediatrics are seeking a highly motivated, committed and experienced Secretary/ Training Administrator to provide an efficient and effective secretarial service to the Head of Children’s Nursing and the matrons. To administer the nursing and midwifery training days and to also administer the purchasing function for equipment and services for the Health Care Group.

You must have relevant qualifications and experience of setting up and maintaining electronic databases. You will be dealing with a wide range of people therefore, you must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills. Your duties will also include minute taking, being the contact person for the Health Care Group relating to recruitment of staff and to lead on raising requisitions and assisting in obtaining quotes for equipment and services for the Health Care Group.

For this role we are looking ideally for someone with relevant administration experience. Essential skills will include an ability to work on own initiative and to be proactive in all areas of work. To be successful, you must have a professional approach, be a team player and be flexible.
