An excellent opportunity has arisen to work with a charitable organisation that promotes the independence for their service users. They are committed to delivering person-centred care as well as promoting rights, opportunity and wellbeing. They are seeking a Manager to support 3 supported living services with adults with Learning Disabilities.

Each site has an established care team providing compassionate support to people under the guidance of an onsite Team Leader at each service. The services are registered with the CQC as delivering Personal Care and have appropriate systems and processes in place to ensure that a quality service is delivered consistently.
The service staff team are trained in supporting individuals with autism, communication needs and complex behaviours. Individuals are assisted in positive risk taking so that they actively increase their confidence and move towards their goals in achievable milestones.
Relevant Skills and experience:

• A relevant professional qualification (e.g. Diploma in Social Work, RMN/RGN, NVQ 4/5).
• Significant practitioner and/or management experience.
• Minimum 3 year's experience working within care.
• Experience of supervising and being a role model to staff and plan rotas to meet the needs and preferences of service users.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to listen sensitively to others.
• A clean driving licence.
• Ability to produce high quality written reports within deadlines.

Job Description:

• Full time (37.5) hours a week
• be expected to work effectively with families and other agencies and to maintain a positive and trusting relationship with the on-site Housing Scheme Managers.
• You will undertake quality assurance checks at both services to ensure compliance with essential standards of care. These are busy services and therefore you will need to be hard working, accountable and have strong organisational skills.
• Will ensure that CQC care standards are met and the highest level of customer service is provided.
• Maintain a person centred and flexible that promotes privacy, dignity, independence and preferences of clients.
• support service users with daily living skills and individual activities which will include moving and handling.


• 25 days per annum plus eight statutory days pro rata.
• Career Development - All senior staff are expected to train as NVQ assessors and/or practice teachers and to contribute to the training and development of junior staff and students.
