This is a fantastic oportunity for a ESaas Enior Engineer - Service Owner

Overall purpose of role

As a hands on technical ESaaS Senior Engineer you will work closely with our ESaaS live Services, ESaaS Academy ( ESaaS training) and our consumers to ensure relentless stable live services You will be responsible for the ITIL process in production and the live infrastructure and the automation of our onboarding process. You will work with a team of Elastic/ automation engineers to ensure all integration points/ reports/ customer visible configurations/consumer questions are as automated (chatbot and search pages etc ) and intuitive as technically possible.

The role is also required to be able to build and draw reports from Kibana and ServiceFirst to provide pictures of our live service stability and usability.

The role will be working hands on with the Global Product Owner, The Release & LCT Product Owner and the Architect Owner to provide the input to our Product backlog. The creation of the documentation around the business outcomes and Features from a live services and training perspective as well as their acceptance criteria’s.

The role has a key responsibility to work within agile/ Lean frameworks supporting the continuous drive to better products faster strategy.

You will maintain excellent relationships and communication with global stakeholders, other IT teams, and business areas, including the automation and distribution of production of Stability Metrics (incident, change, capacity, SLAs, infrastructure).

Person Specification

* The successful candidate will be an action-orientated and proactive individual with a focus on continuous improvement in all areas of responsibility.

* You will be able to hands on provide automation and have a very deep technical understanding of the platform.

* Thoroughly sign up to and understands the Agile concept of Self-organizing teams—encourages role interchangeability as well as leadership and collaboration

* You will have the ability to build highly productive relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders utilising a challenging but positive and influential style.

Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, related field or equivalent work experience

* Strong experience with the areas of: SQL and NoSQL databases (data modelling and aggregation techniques). Data Analytics tools such as Spark/Flume/Hadoop (one or more) .

* Strong experience with Python (pandas, numpy), JavaScript, Ruby, R, Scala (one or more).

* Strong experience with linux/unix on sysadm level, AWS , containers and cloud.

* Strong experience with the tools as: Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana or Splunk.

* Strong experience with responsibility of big scale live services

* Strong experience hands on with ITIL processes including ServiceNow/First

* Strong experience working within a successful agile team "knowing what good looks like
