Staff Nurse - Respiratory - Locke Ward
umWe are seeking exceptionally motivated Registered Nurses, to work within our “Marvellous Medicine” Health Care Group.
Locke Ward is a dedicated Medical Respiratory Unit, which provides ward based acute care for our patients with a wide range of respiratory conditions.
There is plenty of variety working on a busy acute ward. You will have exposure to high dependency patients managing their acute care needs, providing a great opportunity to develop experience for those aspiring to a future within respiratory care. The skills you develop will include caring for acute/high dependency patients who have been discharged from the critical care environment. You will provide ward based acute care for a wide range of acute and acute-on-chronic conditions including Non-invasive Ventilation, chest drains and Acute Asthma.

All new staff joining Princess Alexandra Hospital will be subject to a probation period of 6 months.
