Are you looking for a new challenge or to develop your safeguarding skills? We are seeking to recruit someone who has a genuine commitment to safeguarding and who is experienced or wants to develop within this field. The successful applicant will have experience in working within their field with children/families and be willing to develop their knowledge of safeguarding issues within a busy acute hospital and the wider health economy. The role encompasses promoting a positive culture of safeguarding to ensure it is part of everyday practice.
This is a varied, rewarding role for a motivated, hardworking individual. The successful post holder will be offering safeguarding advice and guidance, training and supervision. The role involves inter-agency working with the Local Authority and the Police and the applicant would need to evidence a commitment to working in a challenging environment.
Strong support is available from the Named Nurse and the safeguarding team generally. You will need to be a team player, but able to work autonomously.
