Our client, an exciting & expanding global company, are looking to welcome an an ambitious finance individual to join their team during this exciting period of growth. You may be in a Senior Accounts/Assistant Finance Manager/Finance Manager position looking for a new challenge, if so this is the perfect role for you to achieve your goals.

Being within the drinks industry, you will be a fun and charismatic individual that is used to working in a fast-paced and exciting company! There is lots of room for progression and this role is best suited to an individual looking to grow and develop with the position.

Come January, our client will be moving into modern and newly refurbished office in Newbury Business Park.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, this position will involve the following duties:

Ensure the multi-currency sales & purchase invoices are processed in accordance with company policy - this will involve some hands-on invoice processing.
Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported to deadlines
Revaluations for foreign bank accounts, debtors & creditors
Fixed Assets and Depreciation
VAT returns & submissions for UK & Ireland
EU VAT & VIES information to be supplied to our retained EU VAT consultants for VAT registrations in Germany, Spain, France, Ireland, Italy & Hungary
Intrastat – oversee submissions
Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and intercompany balances
Produce monthly accrual and prepayment schedules and post month-end journals
Assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts
Staff management of 2 accounts administrators – be able to recognise skillsets and capability to maximise mentoring
Ad hoc finance administrative reports and duties as required Qualification, Experience and skills:

Qualified AAT Level 4 (more than 5 years’ experience)
Experience of using SAP (required)
Experience of multi-currency accounting (required)
Monthly management accounts experience (advantageous)
Staff management
Intrastat & EC Sales reporting (preferred)
EU VAT and cross border transaction experience (advantageous)
Duty Deferment & Excise experience – (advantageous)
Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with an international head office and international sister companies (required)
