The Travel Sales Manager will lead and manage our team of experienced sales agents. You will need a positive and energetic approach, to motivate the team and maximise their potential.
You will be responsible for team performance, as well as hitting sales performance and customer satisfaction KPIs. You will need to understand our customer profile and their expectations and needs to ensure excellent customer service is delivered. You’ll need to get the best out of your team members to ensure they each meet their individual KPI’s and targets. You will be required to mentor team members, identify training needs and provide one-to-one training in areas where you feel your team needs guidance and support. You’ll be responsible for their personal development as well as dealing with any performance issues promptly and effectively. You will need to keep the team updated on their sales figures and ensure that they are using their time efficiently. You will also be responsible for the recruitment and training of new members to the team.
We expect the successful candidate to have a hands-on approach and lead by example when it comes to sales and customer service, to ensure the smooth running of the department.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing a team.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales roles.
A proven track record for driving sales and delivering excellent customer service.
Travel Industry experience essential.
