About us:
General Technology are a software development and IT services company based in Shoreditch, London. We have over 30 years of experience in this field, and specialise in serving the higher education sector. We are currently looking for a keen and motivated Software Support Analyst to join our growing team and help us better serve our customer's needs.

About the role:
Our ideal candidate has experience in customer support, and in particular software support. Your role will require an ability to promptly log customer issues, analyse root causes, develop solutions and implement these at customer sites. This may sometimes involve basic coding skills or an ability to troubleshoot code - we will provide full training on this over a number of months as you transition into the role. We fully expect the right candidate to grow into this role and eventually own customer support as a business function. Salary is negotiable depending on skills and experience.

Skills:
- Experience in customer support, preferably in software support
- Some knowledge of basic coding is desirable (e.g VBA, SQL etc)
- A keen interest in the technology industry
- A self-motivated attitude and strong work ethic
- Personable, reliable, and trustworthy character
