Scheme Manager (Supported Housing)



Part time (31.5 hours per week)

Our client is a social housing provider, owning and managing circa 3785 properties and providing services to over 5000 customers across Gloucestershire. Their retirement housing is specially designed rented accommodation for people over the age of 60.

They are currently looking for a friendly and caring individual to help provide housing management services to the elderly sheltered housing residents at their scheme in Winchcombe

Taking responsibility for all aspects of the scheme under your control, you will ensure that all communal areas are clean and presentable, repair works are reported and resident records are kept up to date. You will answer all telephone calls to the scheme and will ensure that residents are conversant with fire alarms and emergency procedures.

You will already have experience of working with older people in a supporting role and, as such, will be able to cope in a crisis and deal with emergencies. Ideally you will have working knowledge of the benefits system along with experience within social housing, although this is not essential. You must be self motivated and good at record keeping.

Due to the nature of the role, a full UK Driving licence and the use of a car during working hours is essential.

The successful candidate will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS.
