JOB TITLE Domestic Gas Engineer,

SALARY: £29,250 - £35k (includes 40 hour’s work and 5 hours travel per week) + overtime, callout, OTE £40k- £45k

ANNUAL LEAVE: 20 days + 1/year or service up to 25 days = bank holidays

OVERTIME: Time and 1 half rates apply to all overtime over 40 hours

VEHICLE: A van and fuel card will be provided

Currently delivering exceptional standards of service on gas contracts for customers such as insurance contracts, letting agency contracts and some commercial including pub chains and retailers.

CANDIDATE INFORMATION – Domestic Gas Engineer

* Recognised industry qualifications including gas safe/ACS /domestic gas – training for commercial gas may also be offered to the right candidate after a qualifying period
* Good customer services skills, well presented and articulate
* Flexible with a strong work ethic
* Ability to diagnose and repair faults on domestic gas - oil/LPG appliances would also be advantageous but not essential
* Experience of working on domestic gas maintenance contracts of a similar nature previously
* Ability to install full domestic heating systems
* Motivated and trustworthy

JOB INFORMATION – Domestic Gas Engineer

* As a domestic gas engineer you would be based from home - working on a mobile basis you would be responsible for carrying out maintenance and repair on a wide range of domestic gas appliances in domestic homes and small commercial properties.
* You would be responsible for carrying out PPM Schedules, CP12’s, breakdowns, reactive maintenance.
* Covering private customers, estate agents contracts, holiday lettings, insurance contracts and some commercial properties with domestic appliances.
* Working as part of an emergency response team attending break downs
* 24 hour rota for emergency call out – 1 in 6 with a standby allowance
* Further training opportunities will be made available to the right gas engineers
