We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Carer to join the friendly team at Fairlawn in Ferndown.

  • Full or part time hours
  • Permanent and Maternity Cover Contracts
  • Full training provided with excellent support and development
  • £9.27 an hour

As a Senior Carer you will also supervise and inspire carers, with the support of the care team leader and home managers.

The role of Senior Carer will involve early (07:00 - 14:30) and late shifts (14:15 - 21:45), alternate weekends and some Bank Holidays (with pay enhancements).

What we're looking for:

As a Senior Carer you will have experience in the care of older people and the supervision of staff, and be able to demonstrate leadership qualities.

As a Senior Carer you will also hold an NVQ or diploma level 2 qualification in social care and have experience in administering medication. A level 3 qualification is desirable but this can be obtained after you have started with us.
