Support workers – Working with 16-18 years olds
£10ph plus sleep-ins
As a Support Worker, you’ll make a real difference as you support and advise the young people we support and accommodate to help achieve their potential.
Typical duties may include:
Cleaning and cooking
Planning their futures – education, training, employment
Teaching life skills - budgeting
1:1 working and 2:1 working
Promote positive decisions
As a Support Worker, you’ll be passionate about helping to shape the lives of young people. Most important is that you’re able to engage with young people, flexible, honest, patient and able to see situations from a young person's perspective. The role of a Support Worker can be challenging, so you’ll also need to be non–judgemental, sensitive and confident of being able to support people during difficult times. Our shift pattern are working days with sleep-ins for each shift.
For the successful candidates this is regular work where you can pick and choose your own shifts with block bookings.
Care Sector: 6-month experience working with young people
Mandatory training (we can offer refresher)
Child & Adult DBS (in date, needs to be clear otherwise won’t be accepted. However, we can apply for one)
Be able to travel up to 30miles
