Spire Tunbridge Wells Hospital have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a Ward Sister/Team Leader. The successful applicant will provide exemplary planned care for patients, ensuring the team also deliver quality patient care by providing appropriate clinical and managerial leadership.
Spire Tunbridge Wells is a 40 bedded acute hospital situated in rural Kent, located within five miles of Royal Tunbridge Wells and on the boundaries of West Sussex. The hospital offers a range of services and facilities including two operating theatres, a sterile services department, a dedicated endoscopy suite, and a diagnostic and imaging department with an MRI and CT scanner. There are outpatient and physiotherapy departments providing services six days a week.

Duties and responsibilities
- Take charge of the wards, coordinating the duties and responsibilities of the staff and ensure that competences are fulfilled
- Develop practice in the assessment of health and wellbeing needs
- Develop and improve services and quality
- Lead others in the development of knowledge, ideas and work practices
- Plan, allocate, assess and provide feedback to team members
- Maintain and support the use of efficient use of physical and financial resources
- Undertake Human resource activities for all members of the team
Who we are looking for
You will be a Registered Nurse with current NMC Registration and Team Leader/Ward Management experience. A mentorship qualification and previous experience in surgical setting is desirable
