Senior Clinical Fellow in Paediatric Surgery

Applications are invited for a Senior Clinical Fellow in Paediatric and Neonatal Surgery who will work at middle grade tier in our busy Paediatric & Neonatal Surgery Service.

The post is to commence from February 2019 for a period of 12 months initially with possible extension.

The duties of the post include assessment and management of children in outpatient clinics, Children Assessment Unit, A&E, day care and inpatient wards. Operative work, includes endoscopic, laparoscopic and thoracoscopic procedures in Paediatric GI, Paediatric Urology and Paediatric Thoracic Surgery.

Applicants must have full registration with the GMC.

The post-holder will be responsible to a named consultant supervisor and should expect regular supervised meetings to discuss patient care. They are expected to play a full role in the departmental teaching and training programme and be registered for Trust's Appraisal and the Continuing Professional Development Scheme.

NHS Service
