Key Details: An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a passionate and motivated Theatre Practitioner who specialises in Scrub to join a dynamic, multidisciplinary and expanding team within a Private Hospital located in North London. You will treat NHS & Private Patients and I am looking for a passionate Scrub Practitioner who will provide the best possible, personalised care to the people of North London.

The Key details are:

Location: North London - within easy access via Train, Bus and car with car park

Salary: £30,000 - £36,000 per annum / £15.38 - £18.46 per hour based on 37.5 hours per week. (Negotiable DOE)

Bonus: Annual bonus provided.

Hours: Full Time- 37.5 hours

Contract Type: Permanent

    Further Details about the role: I am looking to recruit a passionate Theatre Practitioner to join a Hospital located in North London. You will support across a variety of operations including Orthopaedics, ENT and Gynaecology. We have a high level of cases through Theatres on a daily basis, often averaging 50/60 in a day and you will be strongly encouraged to influence improvements and change across the department to support this level of activity. The Hospital covers a wide variety of surgical procedures, you will support in assessing patient's health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload, assisting in the delivery of care to meet the patient's needs. You will actively promote best practice and contribute towards quality improvements, collect collate and organise data, interpret all of the information and make a justifiable assessment, making this available to relevant others.

    Person Specification: I am looking for the successful applicant for this Theatre based opportunity to confident, proactive and demonstrate a desire to improve on their existing skill base to add value to the department. Ideally you will be a Registered Nurse/Operating Department Practitioner with extensive Scrub experience and be used to working in teams and with minimum supervision. Competence across a range of skills, supported by professional and clinical knowledge acquired through state registration/practitioner qualification and additional training is also desirable.
