Established practice located in Oxfordshire seeks Conveyancing Lawyer on a permanent basis.

Working within the CQS accredited department located at the Thame office, the successful lawyer will manage a caseload of freehold and leasehold files from initial instruction to post completion with minimal supervision and maintain high standards of client care and service at all times.


- Freehold and leasehold transactions
- Sales and purchases
- Handling enquiries
- Preparing contractual and supporting documentation
- Conducting searches and investigating titles
- Checking official copy documents
- Ensuring mortgage conditions are satisfied
- Using case management systems
- Liaising with clients and other property professionals
- Some commercial property matters as required
- Ensuring accurate and timely billings

The Candidate

- Applications are considered from qualified solicitors and legal executives with solid experience in residential property
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and a client-focused approach
- Previous experience in commercial property would be advantageous but is not essential
- Works well as part of a team but is equally comfortable working on their own initiative
- Is highly organised, able to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- A detail orientated, and flexible approach will be essential
