Staff Nurse - RGN - Hospice


Full Time

Salary up to £35500

We are looking for a Staff Nurse who is passionate about nursing and is a motivated team player with excellent communication skills.

Our Hospice, treats over 3,000 terminally ill patients and their families every year, for free. We have exceptional clinical environments and are committed to delivering the highest quality patient service. Our patients face a range of conditions, including cancer, respiratory disease, heart failure and HIV. You will need to be ambitious, flexible and energetic to join us. A particular interest in providing the best possible care to patients within a specialist palliative care setting, would be what you need to possess to be a successful member of the team.

Responsibilities Include:

    To ensure the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of evidence based, individualised patient careTo develop high standards of skilled nursing care and professional practice through evidence- based practice.To work as part of a multi-professional team, involved in the holistic assessment of patients and their carers enabling patients to maximise their potential and promote self-management.To utilise post-registration experience in palliative care, oncology, HIV or the management of patients with complex long-term conditions.

    Skills and Experience

      NMC Registered NurseExperience within Palliative Care Nursing or extremely passionate about this area
