Spire Nottingham is a brand new 58-bed hospital with broadcasting facilities in two of its five theatres to support education and research. This will allow trainee surgeons and other clinicians to view and discuss complex operations as they are carried out. The hybrid theatre - which is one of the 'viewing' theatres - will also house the Siemens Artis Zeego unique robotic imaging technology. This will help surgeons in many areas including heart and chest operations, brain surgery, joint replacements and complex spinal surgery.
Our facilities also include: 42 private en-suite rooms,11 day case beds, 5 theatres including a hybrid theatre, on-site MRI, CT, X-ray, ultrasound and mammography, state of the are Physiotherapy services and an on-site Pharmacy

Duties and responsibilities
The Hospital covers a wide variety of surgical procedures, you will support in assessing patient's health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload, assisting in the delivery of care to meet the patient's needs. You will actively promote best practice and contribute towards quality improvements, collect collate and organise data, interpret all of the information and make a justifiable assessment, making this available to relevant others.
You will also develop a working environment and culture that actively improves health, safety and security and infection control, lead others in the development of knowledge, ideas and work practices and plan, allocate, assess and provide feedback to team members.
Who we are looking for
We're looking for nurses who have surgical ward experience. You'll ideally have 12 months post qualification experience. This role will form part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will work closely with consultants and the theatre team in addition to the radiology, pathology and outpatient departments. Part of your duties will include maintaining effective channels of communication with patients and relatives, administering medication and wound care. The hospital has a fast turnover and thus, flexibility and versatility is essential on a daily basis.
