Spear Recruitment are working on behalf of National company who have a small supported living service in Plymouth who work predominantly with adults who have learning disabilities or Autism.
A breakthrough can seem like the smallest thing, but it can make the world of difference to someone on the autism spectrum. By becoming a Deputy Manager you’ll help make every day breakthroughs happen more often. You’ll be working with autistic adults in a community support environment.
The service supports 1 gentleman in his own home and is developing a 5 bed supported living service. The people we support are very active and outgoing and have a range of interests as well as support needs.
Being a Deputy Manager takes bravery, patience and commitment. But working with autistic people gives so much more in return.
Weneed you to be resilient, supportive and sensitive towards the needs of autistic people.
You may havea personal connection, a desire to work with or real life experiences working with autistic people. If you are willing to make a difference to the lives of autistic people, we’d love to hear from you.
For this position you will need
- NVQ 3 or above in Health and Social Care
- At least 2 years’ experience in a Senior role
- Previous experience of Learning disabilities or Autism
- Patient and calming nature
- A desire to achieve quality care
- Successful applicants will be required to complete the relevant safeguarding checks.
