An excellent opportunity has a risen for a passionate and skilled Service Manager to join a well established and growing team. My client is a leading charity supporting individuals with learning disabilities, mental health problems, autism and associated complex behaviours.

The service is of a medium with size catering mainly for adults with complex physical needs, it has an outstanding CQC rating. It is nicely situated in a residential suburb just north of the centre of Newcastle upon Tyne which is widely considered to be one of the most affluent suburbs of Newcastle.

This Service Manager role is based within a setting that is part of a reputable care provider who delivers high standards of care and have a unique approach to person-led support. The Service Manager will manage homes with people who have a variety of support needs. You will need to be enthusiastic about communicating with and supporting people in a person centered manner.

As the Service Manager the following is required:

• Have a level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• Have experience in managing nursing and care teams / supervisory or management experience in a care environment.
• Have strong people and communication skills.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Ensure budgetary compliance.
