Assistant Compliance Manager – Banking
Key responsibilities will include assisting in the formulation of, and carrying out the Branch’s compliance monitoring programme, as well as developing and reviewing policies and procedures and carrying out monitoring tasks as assigned by the Dept Head. The successful candidate will be required to sign-off all monitoring tests, get involved in the coordination and submission of management reports and get involved in strategic planning, ensuring the Compliance function becomes an integral part of the branch. There will also be the requirement to advise on ad hoc queries from across the business as necessary. The successful candidate will have 7+ years solid banking compliance experience and be able to contribute as an active member of a small, professional team. The ability to prioritise and meet deadlines is critical. This role will suit a compliance professional, keen to work in a broad role, in an environment where he or she can really utilise their judgement and make sound decisions.
