Our client is an electronic engineering and manufacturing company, specialising in supplying the UK aerospace & defence industry with a wide range of advanced technology applications. On their behalf TRF Engineering are recruiting for a Quality Management Systems (QMS) Auditor to compliment their busy team.

Working alongside the Quality team the purpose of this role is to provide assurance that customer and regulatory compliance is being achieved throughout our business activities. The role is expected to provide assurance on compliance across all disciplines and approvals.

The role is expected to support strategic direction and assurance on compliance.

Main Duties and Responsibilities include

* Manage current regulatory approvals

* Creation, retention and disposal of QMS documents

* Monitoring of external standards and regulations

* Liaise with external parties on any issues relating to Quality/ Safety compliance

* Complete Quality departmental reviews as required.

* Development of audit plans and checklists

* Ensure the integrity of the Quality and Safety Management System at all times and provide a voice of integrity at any level of the company on compliance matters

* Perform internal audits in accordance with the company audit schedule

* Support the facilitation of external audits as per the company audit schedule.

* Raise non-conformances identified during internal and external audit or assessment.

* Manage NCRs to closure.

* Assist in or lead the completion of RCCA

* Analyse trends in NCR’s for continuous improvement.

* Conduct departmental risk assessments / workplace inspections as required.

The successful candidate should educated to degree level or equivalent and be an IRCA Internal auditor and will be eligible for security clearance and, have experience of AS9100Quality Management Systems

In addition to this the following skills would be highly beneficial;

* Experience of Aerospace and/or Defence Sector

* Familiar with IPC -610/620, J-STD-001, FAA 145, CAAC145 and NADCAP AC7120 requirements
